Itinerary of Same Day Agra Tour By Train

07:00 AM- Pick-up from the hotel

You will be picked by the tour driver from your chosen destination in Gurgaon/New Delhi/NCR or from the railway station/ airport. Then you will be transferred to Hazrat Nizamuddin’s Railway Station. The train departs at 8:10 AM and reaches the Agra Cantt by 9:50 AM. Always carry a valid ID proof when you are travelling. It can be your Driving License, Adhaar Card or Passport. You will be given a good breakfast on board. It just takes around 90 min to reach Agra. On reaching the station you will meet tour guide who will take you for a sightseeing tour of the Agra city.

10:00 AM- Visit Taj Mahal

02:00 PM- Visit Agra Fort

Once you are through with a hearty lunch you can advance to visit the Agra Fort. This huge fort provides the bird eye view of whole city. The lovely architecture of Agra fort will just amaze you. There is a museum present inside the fort. It has several artifacts of the ancient Mughal period. Agra Fort was actually the residence of the Mughal rulers for an extremely long period of time. It was later when capital shifted to Delhi that the Mughals left the Agra Fort.

After Agra Fort you will visit Tomb of Itimad- ud Daulah who was chief in the court of Jehangir. This is popularly referred to as ‘Baby Taj’. It is actually a replica of Taj Mahal. It has religious value attached to it.

05:00 PM-Leave back for the railway station

Now you will be transferred to the Agra railway station in a pre-booked taxi. The train leaves by 5.50 PM. And you will reach the capital by 7: 30 PM. It will take less than 100 min to reach Delhi. Food will be provided on board. Once you are Delhi, the tour driver will pick you up from the railway station and drop you at the chosen hotel/ place in Delhi.
