Traveller Reviews

★★★★★

“Seven days felt exactly right but the pace was entirely right — enough time to breathe in each city rather than rush through. Ranthambore delivered — we saw a tiger on Day 3. But Udaipur was the highlight: the lake, the City Palace, the boat ride at sunset. The whole week flowed perfectly with Perfect Agra Tours arranging every car and guide.”

★★★★★

“Lake Pichola at sunset was the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in India. The Amber Fort Sheesh Mahal came second. This tour covers Rajasthan the way it should be covered — not rushed, not curated into a postcard, but genuinely explored with guides who actually know and love these places. Exceptional.”

Frequently Asked Questions

October to March — cool, clear weather across all nine cities. November through February is peak season. The Ranthambore tiger reserve closes from July to September (monsoon). April to June is hot but the safari is open and accommodation rates are lower.

Tiger sightings are never guaranteed — that is the nature of wildlife. Ranthambore has one of the highest tiger density rates in India, and our guests see tigers on the majority of visits. But whether or not a tiger crosses your path, the landscape, ancient fortress ruins, lakes and birdlife make the safari genuinely extraordinary.

Hotels are not in the base price but are arranged as part of your quote. We can book 3-star, 4-star and 5-star properties in all nine cities — including palace hotels and heritage properties in Udaipur, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer. Tell us your preference and we include hotel costs in your full itemised quote.

Yes — fully customisable. Add extra nights in Jaipur or Udaipur, include Jodhpur, substitute Ranthambore for another destination, or extend to the Royal Rajasthan 16-day circuit. Tell us what matters and we build the itinerary around you. Just tell us what matters to you when you enquire.

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour start date. For accommodation booked as part of the package, individual hotel cancellation policies apply — we will advise on these when quoting.
