Yes — traditional Kashmiri houseboats on Dal Lake are well-established and comfortable, with ensuite rooms, hot water, and meals prepared on board. We arrange reputable, licensed houseboats. The Shikara (small wooden boat) ride through the lake’s backwaters and floating vegetable markets is one of the most distinctive experiences in India.
