Traveller Reviews
“Having a full dedicated day in Delhi before moving to Agra made all the difference. We weren’t rushing from monument to monument. The Taj Mahal on Day 2 morning was spectacular, and the full day in Jaipur — including Choki Dhani in the evening — was the highlight. Perfect logistics throughout.”
“Four days was the right amount of time. We didn’t feel rushed at any point. The guide in Agra was outstanding — brought the whole Mughal story to life at the Taj and the Fort. Amber Fort was far more impressive than we expected. Highly recommend the 4-day over the 3-day if you can manage it.”
Frequently Asked Questions
The 4-day tour gives Delhi a full dedicated day: Day 1 covers both Old and New Delhi before you drive to Agra, rather than rushing Delhi and Agra together. You see the Taj Mahal at sunrise and Agra Fort on Day 2, then drive to Jaipur via the Abhaneri step well, and enjoy a full day to explore Jaipur on Day 3 before returning to Delhi on Day 4. Want a more relaxed pace with an extra day to settle into Delhi? Consider the 5-day package. Fatehpur Sikri can be added to any of our itineraries on request.
Hotels are not included in the base price but can be arranged. We work with vetted 3-star, 4-star and 5-star properties in both Agra and Jaipur. Share your preference when enquiring and we’ll include hotel options in your quote. Agra 5-star options include properties with direct Taj Mahal views from the room.
Entry fees are not included in the base tour price and are paid on-site. Your guide will tell you exactly what each monument costs before you enter — there are no surprises. Entry fee costs for foreign nationals are available from us on request.
October to March — cool, dry and clear across all three cities. November to February is the prime season. April to June is hot (Delhi can reach 45°C) but manageable in an AC car. July to September (monsoon) brings rain but also lush greenery and thinner crowds at the monuments.
Absolutely — we build all Golden Triangle tours to your preferences. Common additions include Fatehpur Sikri en route to Agra, Mehtab Bagh (the sunset garden opposite the Taj), Nahargarh Fort in Jaipur, or extra time at any site. Just mention it when you enquire.
The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday. We always confirm your travel dates avoid a Friday before building the itinerary — this is handled automatically when you book with us.
