Itinerary of Kerala Tour- 3 Nights & 4 Days Tour:
Day 1: Cochin Arrival & Transfer to Munnar (4 hours drive)
Arrive at Cochin airport/ railway station. A representative will receive you from Perfect Agra Tours. Your tour begins with a warm welcome and a scenic drive from Cochin to Munnar. It is a popular hill station known for its lush green tea estates. En route, you can enjoy the scenic beauty of Kerala, which includes Cheeyappara Waterfall. The best time to visit it is in the monsoon season, and Valara waterfalls, which are surrounded by lush green forest, making it a home of many animals and birds, spice plantations, and tea gardens, add to the beauty of the road trip with many picturesque views. On reaching Munnar, check into your hotel of your choice. Relax and enjoy the blissful nature. Your overnight stay will be in Munnar.
Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast at your hotel, get going on a full-day tour of Munnar sightseeing. You can visit many places on a day tour, such as: Eravikulam National Park, which is a reservoir now preserving the endangered Mountain Goat ‘Nilgiri Tahr’. Next stop will be Mattupetty Dam, where you can indulge in activities like speed boating, which is surrounded by breathtaking scenic views. Then head towards Kundala Lake, an Ideal place for pedal boating or shikkara boating. The most famous point is Echo Point in Munnar because of its natural echoing phenomenon. Then you can drive to the Tea Museum where you can learn about the history, processing, and making of Tea, which is a quite popular drink worldwide. Other places which you can visit in the day tour will be Blossom Garden, Pothamedu View Point, Rajamalai, Photo Point, Attukad Waterfalls, etc. At night, stay at your hotel in Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar to Thekkady (Approx. 85 km, 3 hours)
After breakfast, pack your bags and check out of your hotel in Munnar. Proceed to Thekkady, a renowned wildlife destination with the largest wildlife sanctuary. This road is the most scenic part of your tour. You can witness the thriving wildlife and flourishing flora and fauna. If you love nature, then this is the place to visit for calm and peace. The panoramic view of the Western Ghats hills is covered with various types of spice plantations, which include cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, vanilla, clove, and tea estates. On reaching Thekkady, check into your hotel and take some rest. In the afternoon, you can go for a boating experience in Lake Periyar within the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where you might encounter some wild animals like tigers or elephants. Take a short tour of the Tea Estate. At night, get back to your hotel for a night’s stay in Thekkady.
Day 4: Thekkady to Cochin
After breakfast in the morning at your hotel. Check out for your trip back to Cochin from Thekkady. You will be dropped back at the Airport/Hotel,/Railway Station as per your convenience. Depending on your schedule, you can opt for some quick sightseeing in Cochin, which includes Fort Kochi or Mattancherry Palace. Your tour ends here.
