Itinerary for Kerala Tour 4 Nights & 5 Days:
Day 1: Cochin Arrival & Transfer to Munnar (Approx. 4-5 hours drive)
On your arrival at Cochin airport/ railway station, our representative will give you a warm welcome and will assist you further on the tour. Your picturesque journey from Cochin to Munnar begins with lush green Tea gardens and jaw-dropping landscapes. En route, you can visit Cheeyappara Waterfall and Valara Waterfall, which are surrounded by dense forest where you can even see wild animals in their natural habitat. Even spice plantations are done in this area at many places. On reaching Munnar, check into your hotel room and rest for the evening, and enjoy the cool breeze of the hill station.
Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing Tour
After a delicious buffet breakfast at your hotel, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar. The places which you will visit on this day tour are Eravikulam National Park, which is a sanctuary and home of the endangered ‘Nilgiri Tahr’, a mountain Goat. Next, enjoy boating in Mattupetty Dam and in Kundala Lake, which are surrounded by natural beauty and scenic views. Without visiting Echo Point, your day tour will be incomplete, as this place’s natural echoing phenomenon will thrill you. A tea museum is also here, which will take you through the history and the making of tea from its leaves.
Day 3: Munnar to Thekkady (Approx. 85 km, 3 hours drive)
In the morning, after checking out of your hotel, you will be taken to Thekkady by car, which is a popular wildlife destination with one of the largest sanctuaries in India. The whole road trip is scenic, and panoramic views of the great Western Ghats hills make it more beautiful. The atmosphere is full of aesthetic views, and various spice plantations can be seen on the way, as many spices like pepper, cardamom, clove, and cinnamon are grown here. Next, you can stop at Periyar Lake, which is in the Periyar Wildlife sanctuary, and you might spot some wild animals like deer, elephants, and many varieties of birds and trees in their natural habitat. Your night stay will be in Thekkady.
Day 4: Thekkady to Alleppey (Approx. 160 km, 4-5 hours drive)
After enjoying breakfast at your hotel in Thekkady, check out and drive to Alleppey. Here, popular backwaters and houseboat adventures will take you to another heaven in Kerala. famously known as the “Venice of the East.” This place is popular for its enchanting emerald backwaters, lagoons, and canals. Staying on a traditional Kerala houseboat will be an unforgettable overnight stay. As you relax on your houseboat, it will calmly drift on the water, making the experience more magical. Traditional local food will be served on the boat, made especially by local people. Witness local village life, observe paddy fields, and marvel at coconut groves.
Day 5: Alleppey to Cochin Departure (Approx. 55 km, 1.5-2 hours drive)
In the morning relish the authentic Kerala cuisine and sea food on the houseboat, enjoy the morning cruise as it gently glides through the canals surrounded by scenic views and lush green trees. You will then be transferred back to Cochin by car to the Airport, Railway Station, or your hotel, as per your convenience and departure schedule. Depending on if you have time, you might have the opportunity for some quick sightseeing in Cochin, such as Fort Kochi or Mattancherry Palace.
