Ashish Gupta founded Perfect Agra Tours in 2010 with a single conviction: that private, expert-guided travel is not a luxury reserved for a few — it is simply the right way to experience a place as complex and layered as India. Starting from Agra, the city he grew up in and knows intimately, Ashish built a team of licensed, passionate guides who share his belief that a great tour is not about ticking sights — it is about understanding them.
Over fifteen years, Perfect Agra Tours has grown from a local Agra operation into a full India specialist — covering the Taj Mahal and the Golden Triangle, the royal cities of Rajasthan, Kashmir’s Dal Lake houseboats, Kerala’s backwaters, and beyond. Through all of it, the approach has remained the same: private cars, expert guides, honest advice, and an absolute refusal to cut corners on the things that matter.
Ashish is personally involved in every itinerary design and quality review. When a guest writes that their guide knew the history, found the right light for photographs, and made them feel genuinely looked after — that is what the whole operation is built to achieve.

We are based in Agra — not Delhi, not a booking platform overseas. Our guides grew up near the monuments they show you. That depth of local knowledge — the stories, the light, the quiet corners — is not something that can be scripted.
The price we quote is the price you pay. We do not take commissions from shops, restaurants, or hotels. Our guides do not steer you towards commercial interests. What you see is what you get — and that trust is something we have worked fifteen years to earn.
No itinerary is fixed until you say it is. We design around your travel dates, your pace, what you want to prioritise, and what you want to skip. If you have special dietary needs, accessibility requirements, or an unusual request — tell us. We almost always find a way.
